For example, during a crisis, a leader who communicates calmly and moves deliberately stabilizes the team. They show that urgency does not require panic. On the other hand, leaders who rush frantically or shift tone unpredictably amplify anxiety and drain energy.


When leaders align their pace and tone with organizational needs, they act as stabilizers. Their consistency fosters resilience, enabling teams to move in sync without burning out.
